Dumplings With Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sauerkraut
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook sauerkraut, adding just enough water to cover, for 20 minutes. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, egg and milk. Drop by tablespoon over sauerkraut. Cook 5 minutes, uncovered; then cover and cook 7 minutes longer.
