Lemon Buttered New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. new potatoes
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Wash potatoes and pare a 1-inch strip around the center of each one.
    Place potatoes, sugar, salt and garlic in large saucepan.
    Cover with water and bring to a boil.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.
    Drain well. Combine butter, lemon juice and paprika.
    Drizzle over potatoes and toss gently.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
