Oreo Cookie Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 1/4 lb.) pkg. Oreo cookies
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    2 pkg. instant French vanilla pudding
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Put cookie crumbs at bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Mix the cream cheese, butter and sugar; set aside.
    Mix pudding, milk and vanilla.
    Add cream cheese mixture; fold in Cool Whip.
    Put cookie crumbs on top and bottom.
    Cool in icebox for 4 hours.
