Italian Style Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 (1 1/2 lb.) pork chops (thin)
    dash of salt and pepper
    1 tsp. Italian herbs
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    chopped parsley
    grated lemon peel (for garnish)
Preparation
    Sprinkle pork chops with salt, black pepper and Italian herbs. Brown well in heated butter, on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
    Place chops in heavy skillet; add garlic.
    Add tomatoes with liquid, lemon juice and 2 teaspoons lemon peel.
    Simmer gently 30 to 40 minutes or until chops are no longer pink in the center and cooked tender.
    Garnish with grated lemon peel.
