Date Nut Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box graham cracker crumbs
    1 bottle maraschino cherries, chopped
    1/2 box raisins (optional)
    1 box chopped dates
    1/2 pt. fig preserves
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. marshmallows
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt marshmallows in cherry juice.
    Pour over fruit and 2/3 of crumbs.
    Stir together.
    Form into 3 logs.
    Roll logs into remaining crumbs.
    Lift from crumbs and wrap in foil.
    Place in plastic bag and refrigerate.
    Keeps for months.
