Yule Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. whole Brazil nuts
1 1/2 c. walnut halves or 3 c. mixed nuts, toasted
1 (7 oz.) pkg. whole dates
1/2 c. candied cherries (whole)
3/4 c. each: candied pineapple and citron
2/3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
Preparation

Sift sugar, flour, baking powder and salt over fruit and nuts; coat well.
Beat eggs until light.
Add vanilla.
Blend into fruit and nuts.
Batter will be stiff.
Spoon into paper lined pans. Bake at 300\u00b0 for approximately 1 3/4 hours.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
Turn out.
