Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. pared, cored and sliced apples
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1/3 c. softened butter
Preparation
    Place apples in buttered 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan.
    Add water, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
    Mix together sugar, flour and butter until crumbly.
    Spread mixture over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Makes 6 servings.
