Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. sour milk
    1 c. mashed bananas
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Stir in sour milk and mashed bananas.
    Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder and soda.
    Blend in chopped nuts.
    Pour into a well greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake until it tests done, usually 50 to 60 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
