Streusel Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Cut in butter.
Beat egg and milk.
Stir into above mixture.
Place half of cake batter into greased and floured 8X8 pan.
Sprinkle with half of topping mixture and then remaining batter and topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
When doubling recipe, bake in 9X13 pan for 35-45 minutes.
