Hot Dog Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 qt. tomatoes, pureed
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 to 2 clove garlic, minced
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion together.
    Drain off any fat. Add remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce to simmer. Cook one hour or until chili is thick.
    Makes 4 pints.
