Penuche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. maple syrup
    1 c. rich milk
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil syrup and milk together for 15 minutes or until forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Add nuts, salt and vanilla, beating until creamy.
    Pour into pan lined with wax paper. When cool, cut in squares.
