Green Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. green tomatoes, diced
    1 c. salt
    1 gal. onions, coarsely chopped
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    1 qt. red and green peppers, chopped (some may be hot if desired)
    1 Tbsp. celery salt
    1 or 2 qt. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
Preparation
    Pour salt over green
    tomatoes,
    onions and peppers and let stand 1 or 2 hours, then
    drain.
    Bring to boil for 1 or 2 minutes the cinnamon, allspice,
    celery
    salt, sugar and vinegar.
    Add chopped vegetables;
    boil
    again
    for
    15
    minutes. Pour in jars and seal.
