Date Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. chopped dates
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Bring the margarine and sugar to a boil.
    Add the egg and dates.
    Cook 10 minutes on very low heat. Cool. Add the Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.
    Make into small balls or a log.
    Roll in the coconut.
