Ingredients

1 c. milk, scalded
2 heaping Tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation

Cook
milk, flour and salt.
When milk mixture has been cooked (thickened very thick) beat it up well.
Cool thoroughly.
Add sugar,
shortening,
vanilla and maple flavoring for the Chocolate Mocha-Dot Cake.
Cover the cake and center with icing and arrange chocolate chips on top.
Serve cake chilled.
