Always Tender Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) rump or chuck roast
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. hot water
    1 1/2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Brown roast on all sides in oil.
    Drain.
    Combine water, bouillon, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over the roast.
    Add bay leaves.
    Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours, or until tender.
    Remove roast.
    Combine flour and water. Stir into pan juices.
    Bring to boil.
    Stir until thickened. Remove bay leaves before making gravy.
