Satin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    4 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in glass bowl.
    Cook in microwave at 50% power until smooth and blended.
    (Can also be done in double boiler, if preferred.)
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well.
    Blend in vanilla.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold into chocolate mixture.
    Blend thoroughly and pour into pie shell.
    Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
    Serve with whipped cream.
    Serves 8.
