Ice Cream Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 stick margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
    vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat egg, Crisco, margarine, vanilla and 1/2 of the cake mix until smooth.
    Stir in remaining cake mix.
    Mix until smooth.
    Roll out dough (small amount at a time) and cut into 2 1/2 or 3-inch circles or squares.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    As soon as you take them from the oven, poke fork holes in them.
    Cool and spread ice cream between them, wrap individually with Saran Wrap and freeze.
