Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. potatoes, boiled (canned or frozen)
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    6 c. 2% reduced fat milk
    1 c. (4 oz.) Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. reduced fat sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    6 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled (optional)
Preparation
    Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.
    Place flour in large pot, gradually add milk, stirring with a whisk until blended.
    Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
    Add potatoes, cheese, salt and pepper and bacon.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated (do not boil).
