Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. dark seedless raisins
3 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and toss with two forks for about 1 minute.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.
Spoon into greased pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
Cool in pans one minute.
Remove and put on wire rack until cool.
Makes 1 large 9 x 4-inch or two smaller ones.
