Banner Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients (sugar and flour). In saucepan, bring butter, Crisco, cocoa and water to boil and pour over flour/sugar mixture. Stir well and add remaining ingredients. Mix well; pour in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
