Diet Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. dates, chopped
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. apples, chopped
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Minute oats
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Pour hot water over dates and raisins.
    Add margarine.
    Cool slightly.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    (I bake soon as mixed.)
    Drop by spoonful on greased baking sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
