Shrimp Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices crisp bacon
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 small can water chestnuts, chopped
    1 can green peas
    3 c. cooked rice
    2 tsp. Accent
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon crisp and remove from grease.
    Add onion, bell pepper and water chestnuts into drippings (bacon) and saute for 5 minutes.
    Add shrimp and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
    Add cooked rice, crushed up bacon and soy sauce.
    Mix well.
    Season to taste.
    Stir and let simmer for 10 minutes.
    May substitute ham or chicken for shrimp.
