Bing Cherry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can (2 1/2 c.) Bing cherries, pitted
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jell-O
    2 c. fruit juice
    13 oz. Coke
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Drain juice from cherries and pineapple and reserve.
    Two cups of juice is necessary.
    Bring juice to boiling and pour over gelatin, stirring until completely dissolved.
    When cool, add Coke. Stir and chill in refrigerator until partly congealed.
    Add drained cherries, pineapple and nuts and pour into Pyrex or mold (which has been rinsed in cold water).
    When firm can be unmolded on salad greens and served with mayonnaise or cream cheese dressing.
