Puffy Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Blend in milk and egg.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Stir in the drained corn and drop from teaspoonful into hot oil (about 1/2-inch deep).
    Fry until golden brown.
