Chocolate Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. regular German chocolate cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In top of double boiler, over medium heat, combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.
    Remove from heat.
