Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cake yeast or pkg.
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Pour over sugar, shortening and salt in mixing bowl.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water; add beaten egg and mix well; add to milk mixture.
    Add about 1/2 the flour; beat thoroughly.
    Add remaining flour; mix well.
    Grease top of dough slightly and cover bowl with waxed paper and a towel. About 2 hours before baking, shape 3 small balls of dough for each greased muffin pan to make cloverleaf rolls.
    Cover and let rise until double in bulk (about 2 hours).
    Makes 1 1/2 dozen medium rolls.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
