Baked Stuffed Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large yellow onions
boiling water
1 c. cooked baby lima beans
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. crumbs
Preparation

Wash onions.
Cook in small amount of boiling water for 20 minutes or until nearly tender.
Drain.
Peel.
Slice tops off. Scoop centers out and save.
Fill onions with lima beans.
Dot with 3 tablespoons butter.
Start oven at moderately hot (400\u00b0). Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Place stuffed onions in prepared baking dish.
Bake 15 minutes or until tender.
Saute scooped out onion centers with crumbs in remaining 1 tablespoon butter.
Spoon over onions.
Continue to bake for 5 minutes or until tops are browned.
Makes 6 servings.
