Special Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grits (regular, not quick)
    4 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine
    2 tubes garlic cheese
    2 whole eggs
    milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    corn flake crumbs
    butter
Preparation
    Cook grits, boiling water and salt until they are done (about 5 minutes and not watery).
    Remove from heat and add margarine and cheese.
    Beat eggs in 8 ounce measuring cup and fill cup to the top with milk.
    Add this to grits mixture.
    Add sugar to mixture. Cover with corn flake crumbs; dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Let set 5 to 6 minutes before serving.
    Makes 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    (Can be doubled using larger pan.)
