Barkies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup
    2 c. chunky peanut butter
    4 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. finely chopped dates
    1 pkg. melted almond bark
Preparation
    Bring the sugar and syrup to a boil; remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter, Rice Krispies and dates.
    Mix well.
    Roll into 1-inch balls.
    Cool on wax paper.
    Dip in almond bark.
    Good either plain or dipped.
