Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. boneless chuck roast beef
6 qt. water
salt and pepper
2 onions, diced
2 potatoes, diced
3 to 4 whole pieces celery, diced
2 lb. frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 to 3/4 c. rice
1/2 c. cabbage
1 (64 oz.) tomato juice
sugar
1 c. noodles
Preparation
-
Bring meat, salt, pepper and water to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer while cutting onions, potatoes and celery and adding to broth.
Remove meat to another pan with broth to cover meat and add more water, salt and pepper.
Continue to simmer until done.
