Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Sweet potatoes
    1 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. white sugar
    3/4 stick or 6 tbsp margarine or butter
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins until tender.
    Peel and slice about 1/2 ick thick. Combine syrup, sugar and butter.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Cook until syrup is thick.
