Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    5 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in water.
    Scald milk; add sugar, salt and shortening.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add enough flour to make a thick batter.
    Mix well.
    Add yeast and eggs and beat well.
    Add more flour to make a soft dough.
    Place dough in greased bowl; brush top with soft lard or shortening.
    Cover tightly.
    Refrigerate until doubled or until needed.
    To use, punch down, cut off amount needed and form into shape.
    Let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve.
    Can be kept 1 week, covered, in refrigerator.
