Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

3 very ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 Tbsp. buttermilk or sour cream
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Place bananas, eggs, butter, buttermilk or sour cream, lemon juice and sugar into a blender container or work bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade.
Whirl until smooth.
Mix together flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Pour banana mixture over flour mixture and stir just until flour is moistened.
Stir in the nuts.
Turn into greased 9 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch bread loaf or into a 3 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch nut bread pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 65 minutes or until bread tests done when a skewer is inserted in the center.
Allow to cool 5 minutes in pan, then turn out onto wire racks.
