Four Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can green beans
    1 can wax beans
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 green pepper
    1 onion
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Drain and rinse beans.
    Add thin onion slices and slivered or sliced green pepper.
    Bring to boil the sugar, cornstarch, oil and vinegar.
    Cool until just warm.
    Pour over beans and marinate overnight or several hours.
    Add salt to taste.
