Spiced Cranberry Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pkg. fresh cranberries
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
    1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
Preparation
    Put berries in saucepan with 3/4 cup water.
    Cover, cook 10 minutes or until berries are soft.
    Force through a sieve.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook 12 minutes until thickened.
    Put into jar and cool.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Yields 2 cups.
