Congealed Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box orange or lime gelatin
    1/2 c. pineapple, undrained
    2 pkg. whipped topping
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat gelatin and pineapple just until gelatin is dissolved, but do not boil.
    Allow to cool.
    Prepare whipped topping according to directions on box and add buttermilk, gelatin mixture and nuts.
    Mix until well blended.
    Refrigerate and serve.
