Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    cinnamon and sugar mixture
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, shortening and eggs. Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Mix until well blended.
    Chill. Form into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
