Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 lb. can pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. raisins or dates
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
    Add water.
    Add pumpkin; mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Makes 3 loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
