    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring (optional)
