Devil'S Food Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
Preparation
    Mix water and sugar and boil until sugar has all dissolved. Pour solution into very large Pyrex dish.
    Mix cake, add nuts, and pour into dish on top of sugar solution.
    Bake about 35 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
