Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. broken pecan meat
    5 egg whites, well beaten
    vanilla to taste
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and egg yolks.
    Add syrup, vanilla and pecans; stir well.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour mixtures into unbaked pastry shell and bake slowly at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, until custard like in consistency.
