Beefy-Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round
    1 small head cabbage, loosely chopped
    1 large jar chunky salsa (medium or hot)
    1 large or 2 small cans tomato sauce
    1 large or 2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cans kidney or pinto beans
    1 tsp. garlic powder or to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute ground round and onions.
    Pour into crock-pot, along with salsa, tomato sauce, beans and seasonings.
    Fill salsa jar and tomato sauce cans with water; add to pot.
    Stir well.
    Add chopped cabbage.
    Simmer for several hours on low or for about 2 hours on high.
    Serves 6.
