Foolproof Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Bring margarine and butter to room temperature.
Cream the margarine, butter and Crisco real well.
Add sugar and eggs (beating well after each addition).
Sift flour and salt together; add alternately with cup of milk.
Add flavorings.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in greased and floured cake pan.
