Chocolate Truffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (6 oz. each) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    coatings (chopped nuts, flaked coconut, candy sprinkles, colored sugar, unsweetened cocoa)
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
    Chill 2 hours or until firm enough to hold shape.
    Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in choice of coatings.
    Chill 1 hour or until firm. Store covered at room temperature.
    For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
