Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. raw Spanish peanuts
    1/2 c. light Karo
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In microwave bowl or Pyrex dish, place the first 3 ingredients.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir.
    Microwave 4 more minutes.
    Stir and add butter and vanilla.
    Microwave 1 to 2 minutes more to lightly brown.
    Remove and add soda.
    Stir and spread on buttered 9 x 13-inch piece of foil.
    Break when cool.
