Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 c. whipping cream
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
whole strawberries

Preparation

Combine sliced strawberries and 1/2 cup sugar; stir gently. Chill 1 to 2 hours.
