Lemon Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    Blend rind and shortening.
    Add sugar gradually, creaming well.
    Add egg and beat well.
    Add lemon juice and water.
    Add dry ingredients and mix. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
