Blackberry Mush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 qt. blackberries
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in saucepan.
    Heat to boiling. Stir in blackberries.
    Reduce heat, simmer and stir about 5 minutes.
    Crush berries.
    Blend together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water.
    Stir into blackberries.
    Heat and stir until thick and clear. Stir in lemon juice.
    Let cool.
