Polly'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. hot water
1 c. oil

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients in bowl.
Mix liquid ingredients in bigger bowl.
Dump dry ingredients into bigger bowl and mix with spoon. Put into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Ice with thin chocolate icing or eat plain.
