Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. bananas, mashed
    1/4 c. sweet milk
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat thoroughly.
    Add bananas and continue beating.
    Add milk, beat then add flour.
    Beat and fold in nuts.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven in a greased and floured loaf pan for 45 minutes.
    This recipe is so good that you will want to double it and perhaps divide into about 3 mini-loaves to share with others.
    It still takes from 35 to 45 minutes to bake small loaves, depending upon your oven.
